Was macht das System ?

In der Praxis wird das System wie folgt funktionieren: Das Yellowcamp wird aus Transport­flugzeugen in unzugänglichen Krisenregionen, zum Beispiel in Erdbeben- oder Kriegsgebieten, abgeworfen. Im Fallen öffnet sich das Zelt-Containersystem automatisch in der Luft und kommmt bezugsfertig aufgebaut am Boden an. Der Fußboden besteht aus sieben verbundenen Systemcontainern, die je nach Einsatzzweck unterschiedlich bestückt werden können. Denkbar sind beispielsweise Nahrung, Werkzeuge zur Selbsthilfe, Wasser, Erste-Hilfe-Artikel, Kleidung, Schlafsäcke oder Babynahrung.

What does the system do?

In practice, the system will work as follows: The Yellowcamp will be dropped from transport aircraft into inaccessible crisis regions, such as earthquake or war zones. As it falls, the tent-container system opens automatically in the air and arrives on the ground ready for use. The floor consists of seven connected system containers, which can be loaded with different items depending on the intended use. Possible items include food, self-help tools, water, first-aid supplies, clothing, sleeping bags, or baby food.

Wie funktioniert das System?

Das Yellowcamp ist so aufgebaut, dass es die folgenden Anforderungen erfüllt:

• in der Air Base
• im Transportflugzeug
• Position im Einsatzgebiet leicht änderbar

Das Yellowcamp-System besteht aus einem Basissystem (1) und dem Schutzraumsystem (2).

1. Das Basissystem ist ein Fußboden mit Stauraum und das Ankersystem. Es besteht aus sieben gleichen Einheiten. Alle durch den Bremsfallschirm auftretenden Kräfte werden im Basissystem gleichmäßig aufgenommen und verteilt. Das Basissystem ist auch für andere Zwecke, zum Beispiel als Transportsystem, universell einsetzbar.
2. Das Schutzraumsystem wird auf dem Basissystem verankert. Es öffnet sich durch den Fallschirm in der Luft und kommt aufgebaut am Boden an. Das Schutzraumsystem besteht derzeit aus einem Zeltsystem – ein Haussystem wäre auch denkbar.

How does the system work?

The Yellowcamp is designed to meet the following requirements:

• At the air base
• In the transport aircraft
• Position easily changeable in the operational area

The Yellowcamp system consists of a base system (1) and the shelter system (2).

1. The base system is a floor with storage space and the anchor system. It consists of seven identical units. All forces generated by the drogue parachute are evenly absorbed and distributed within the base system. The base system can also be used universally for other purposes, such as a transport system.
2. The shelter system is anchored to the base system. It opens in the air via the parachute and arrives on the ground fully assembled. The shelter system currently consists of a tent system – a house system is also conceivable.

Einsatzgebiete

Das Yellowcamp System soll weltweit an Luftwaffen­stützpunkten verfügbar sein, so dass alle Nationen und jeder Punkt der Welt schnell erreicht werden kann. Ob in Flüchtlingsgebieten, bei Erdbeben, Wirbelstürmen, Überschwemmungen, in Seenot oder bei Feuerkatastrophen und in Kriegsgebieten.

Das Yellowcamp rettet Menschenleben weltweit, egal welcher Religion oder Weltanschaung. Das System ist für jeden leicht zu verstehen und kostengünstig produzierbar und dank seines flexiblen Basissytems auch ökonomisch in anderen Bereichen zu verwenden.

Sein grundlegender Sinn besteht darin, Menschen in Krisengebieten zu unterstützen und Leben zu retten.

Areas of Use

The Yellowcamp system is intended to be available at air bases worldwide, allowing rapid access to all nations and any location in the world. Whether in refugee areas, during earthquakes, hurricanes, floods, in distress at sea, in fire disasters, or in war zones.

The Yellowcamp saves lives worldwide, regardless of religion or belief. The system is easy to understand for everyone, inexpensive to produce, and, thanks to its flexible base system, can also be used economically in other areas.

Its fundamental purpose is to support people in crisis areas and save lives.

Die Yellowcamp-Systeme kommen bereits bei der Landung aufgebaut als Unterkunft mit viel Stauraum im Fußboden für Hilfsgüter am Boden auf. Es ist kein Aufbau mehr nötig und die Hilfesuchenden haben auf dem modularen Stauraumfußboden sofort eine feste Unterkunft mit allem, was man zum Überleben braucht, wie zum Beispiel Wasser, Essen, Kleidung, Schlafsäcke, Erste-Hilfe-Artikel, und sogar schweres Werkzeug ist möglich.

The Yellowcamp systems arrive pre-assembled upon landing as shelters with ample storage space in the floor for relief supplies on the ground. No further assembly is required, and those seeking assistance immediately have permanent shelter on the modular storage floor with everything they need for survival, such as water, food, clothing, sleeping bags, first aid supplies, and even heavy tools.

Erweiterung des Yellowcamp-Systems für die Gründung einer NGO Yellowcamp

Das Konzept besteht aus zwei großen Einheiten:

1. Das fliegende Katastrophenschutzlagersystem Yellowcamp, um Menschen in akuter Not, in allen Regionen der Welt, bei Naturkatastrophen und in anderen Krisengebieten schnellstmöglich helfen zu können.
2. Yellowcamp Krankenhäuser an Flughäfen. Diese werden weltweit direkt an bestehenden oder neuen Flughäfen errichtet, um verletzten und schwerkranken Menschen schnellstmöglich helfen zu können. Die Yellowcamp Krankenhäuser stehen ständig unter internationaler Kontrolle und sind in Konfliktsituationen ein sicherer Bereich für Verletzte und Schwerkranke.

In ruhigen Zeiten werden die Yellowcamp-Krankenhäuser als Ausbildungskrankenhäuser in medizinischen Bereichen genutzt. Das länderübergreifende Konzept bietet jungen Menschen eine internationale Ausbildung, welche sie in verschiedenen Ländern erhalten. Durch den Wechsel während ihrer Ausbildung an andere Yellowcamp-Krankenhäuser, hilft dies, die internationale Zusammengehörigkeit und Zusammenarbeit zu fördern.

In Krisenfällen können zum Beispiel Ärzte ohne Grenzen mit Unterstützung der Auszubildenen sofort ihre Arbeit aufnehmen. Sollten die Ärzte direkt in das Flüchtlingsgebiet/Katastrophenschutzgebiet umgesetzt werden, so stehen für sie bereits Yellowcamp Absetz- bzw. Abwurfsysteme direkt am Flughafen zur Verfügung, um voll ausgerüstet und geschützt ihre Mission zu erfüllen.

Zusammengefasst: Das Yellowcamp steht für Soforthilfe aus der Luft und ist ein Zeichen für Frieden und Versöhnung – und das weltweit.

Expansion of the Yellowcamp system for the establishment of an NGO, Yellowcamp

The concept consists of two major units:

1. The Yellowcamp mobile disaster relief camp system, designed to provide rapid assistance to people in acute need in all regions of the world, during natural disasters, and in other crisis areas.
2. Yellowcamp hospitals at airports. These are being set up directly at existing or new airports worldwide to provide rapid assistance to injured and seriously ill people. Yellowcamp hospitals are constantly under international control and provide safe areas for the injured and seriously ill in conflict situations.

In times of peace, Yellowcamp hospitals are used as training hospitals in medical fields. The transnational concept offers young people international training, which they receive in different countries. By moving to other Yellowcamp hospitals during their training, this helps promote international solidarity and cooperation.

In times of crisis, for example, Doctors Without Borders can begin their work immediately with the support of the trainees. If the doctors need to be deployed directly to the refugee area/disaster relief area, Yellowcamp drop-off or airdrop systems are already available directly at the airport to enable them to fulfill their mission fully equipped and protected.

In summary: The Yellowcamp stands for emergency aid from the air and is a symbol of peace and reconciliation – worldwide.

Soforthilfe aus der Luft

10 Liter Gesamtvolumen für Trinkwasser, Hygiene und Trockenlebensmittel sind die Mindestanforderung pro Person und Tag, um das Überleben in einem Katastrophengebiet sicherzustellen. So steht es in den WHO- und UnHCR-Richtlinien.

Bestückung der Yellowcamp-Systemcontainer

Das Gesamtvolumen der Systemcontainer beträgt zirka 3,5 Kubikmeter. Damit könnte man rein rechnerisch 42 Notleidende eine Woche lang versorgen.

Folgende Bestückung wäre dafür nötig:

• 5 Yellowcamp Systemcontainer für Lebensmittel und Wasser
• 2 Yellowcamp Systemcontainer für Schlafsäcke, Decken und Kleidung, 17 Wurfzelte mit weiteren Schutzräumen für jeweils 2 Personen, Erste Hilfe, Hygieneartikel und Kommunikationsmittel.

Hier sind natürlich viele weitere Kombinationen denkbar – je nach Einsatzzweck.

Emergency aid from the air

A total of 10 liters of drinking water, hygiene supplies, and dry food is the minimum requirement per person per day to ensure survival in a disaster area. This is stated in the WHO and UNHCR guidelines.

Equipping the Yellowcamp system containers

The total volume of the system containers is approximately 3.5 cubic meters. This could theoretically supply 42 people in need for a week.

The following equipment would be required:

• 5 Yellowcamp system containers for food and water
• 2 Yellowcamp system containers for sleeping bags, blankets and clothing, 17 pop-up tents with additional shelters for two people each, first aid supplies, hygiene items and communication equipment.

Of course, many other combinations are conceivable – depending on the intended use.
